This detached villa is 20km from Elche and 30km from Alicante, and is situated in the wine producing region of Vinalopó Valley which produces wine of D.O. labels. Set in the mountains of the Sierra de Crevillente, Hondon de las Nieves, boasts the feel of a typical Spanish village with cave houses and fiesta's. The villa is about a mile from the village and offers peaceful and tranquil living, combined with great food and sunny weather. The villa boasts a 10m x 5m private swimming pool and a landscaped garden, with Satellite TV (SKY)

There is also a converted Finca ("La Finca") on-site which operates as a Hotel, Restaurant & Bar.

The village of Hondon has a population of around 2000, with a palm-lined square where you can enjoy a great coffee and a glass of wine in the early evenings, taking in the colourful traditional buildings. Before indulging in some of the local foods such as arroz caldoso (rice stew), trigo picado (cracked wheat stew) and grilled meat.

There are 2 fully tiled bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 with two single beds. Bedroom one (ground floor) has a double divan bed, built in wardrobe with draw unit, hot/cold air-conditioning and a ceiling fan.
Bedroom two has a two single beds, hot/cold air-conditioning, built in wardrobe with draw unit, and patio doors onto a balcony overlooking the front path and parking area.
Bedroom three is the Master bedroom with a double pine bed, hot/cold air-conditioning, built in wardrobe and draw unit. And patio doors leading to a private balcony with spectacular mountain views, looking down the valley towards the town of Hondon.

The kitchen has granite worksurfaces, an oven and hob with extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven etc.. plus crockery for 8 people. There's also an iron and ironing board available.

The living/dining room has hot/cold air-conditioning, a 3 piece suite, sideboard, and table a chairs which will comfortably seat 6, and 8 when extended/pulled out. There's also a TV with a Sky-digi box, a video player and also a DVD player available.

Cleaning, and the provision of fresh towels and bedding are done before you arrive, and can be done during your stay if you require - but this will incur a charge.

For those with babies or small children, there is a highchair available and a buggy. There are also plastic bowls, cups and spoons available. In addition there is also a travel cot and a childs airbed.

The property is strictly non-smoking and we would appreciate your co-operation in this matter.
Please also used the shower provided next to the villa/swimming pool to remove any sun lotion before getting into the pool.
